Genre: Acoustic/Indie/Roots Northern Singer/Songwriter Timmy Whitehouse Music has been likened to Micheal Stipe (R.E.M) and Noel Gallagher (Oasis) for his song writing and singing styles. Music is my passion, I try to blend bouncy melodies and catchy chords with lyrics of heart-warming stories or everyday experiences, as well as more thoughtful subjects of life, love, politics and more. Timmy has been a solo performer since 2009 and have enjoyed some wonderful gigs including supporting both Chris Helme of 90s band The Seahorses October 2009 and Mark Morriss from 90s band The Bluetones in March 2010 and more recently supported former Inspiral Carpets singer Tom Hingley at Guisborough in 2024. He has also gigged at various festivals in North Yorkshire including Beamish Live, Radio Aycliffe’s Festival, Dubs In The Dales and more recently Field Of Dreams festival at York in 2021. Alongside gigging I have had two of my own songs chart at No.1 in the unsigned acoustic charts online at soundclick.com for the as the most played songs in their genre.
