How do I get my gig into the GigXchange directory?

The public gig directory takes submissions from anyone. On the gig directory or a city page, press Submit a Gig. On a venue page there is no button — use the inline add your gigs link in the text. Either way a form titled List your gig opens: fill in the first step, continue to the second, and finish with List gig. It is free, and you do not need an account.

You will need the act, the venue, the city and the date. Everything else helps but is optional: start and doors times, entry fee, ticket link, venue address and postcode. A description is required — a few lines on the line-up and the night, so someone deciding whether to come has something to go on.

Your email is required too. That is how we come back to you if something needs checking.

Submissions are reviewed before publishing, so a gig does not appear the instant you send it. Once it is live it sits in the directory alongside every other gig in that city, and on the venue's own page.

This is different from posting a gig inside GigXchange. The directory listing announces a gig that is already booked; posting a gig advertises an open slot for artists to apply to. If you have a night to fill, you want that one instead.
