How do I follow someone, and where do I see who I follow?

Following keeps a member you rate close to hand. You need to be signed in, and you cannot follow yourself.

To follow someone, open their profile and press Follow beside the other actions - it changes to Following, with the heart filled in. On a card in Explore, hover the card and press the heart icon (hovering it says Follow). Press either again to unfollow.

Where they appear. Everyone you follow is added to Favourites, under Explore, automatically - see how do I keep a shortlist of acts or venues? You can unfollow from there too.

Your Dashboard shows a Following count and a Followers count - press either to see the people in it.

Following is not the same as being a fan. A follow is one member keeping track of another, and it needs an account. A fan is anyone - account or not - who gives you their name and email to join your mailing list. Following someone does not put you on their mailing list. For the mailing list, see how do I build a mailing list of my fans?

On an organiser account there is no Dashboard, but Favourites and the Follow button work the same way.
