How do I send an update to my fans?

Open Profile, choose Fans, and press Send an update — it appears once you have at least one fan. That opens Compose Update.

Start by choosing who gets it: All fans, or Pick individually to choose from your list by name. The recipient count sits next to the send button so you always know how many people you are about to write to.

Then write a Subject and a Message. Keep it personal — these are people who chose to hear from you, not a cold list.

You can attach things to the email rather than describing them. Upcoming events appear as their own row, and picking one puts the show, its date and its cover image into the message. You can also attach a flyer or a setlist if you have made one — those are the choices; there is no way to attach a photo from your profile. A Live preview on the right shows the email as your fan will receive it, updating as you type, so nothing goes out looking different from what you expected.

You can send one update every 24 hours. If you try again sooner, GigXchange tells you how long is left rather than sending it.
