How far do bookers think I travel?

Fifty miles, until you say otherwise. Every artist account starts on 50, and your card says so — a line under your town reading "Travels up to 50 mi". A booker cannot tell the difference between the number you chose and the one you were given, so it is worth setting your own.

Open your own profile, go to the About section and press Edit. Travel Radius (miles) sits in the same block as your fee range and set length. Put in the distance you would genuinely go for an ordinary gig, then press Save. Your card picks up the new number straight away.

On the bigger feature card, the map draws faint rings every five miles out to fifty, so a booker can see at a glance how far their room is from you.

Be honest rather than generous. A booker who reads a big number, gets in touch, and then finds the fee will not cover the drive has had their time wasted — and so have you. A smaller, true radius gets you fewer enquiries you were always going to turn down.

This field is on artist accounts. Venues, agents and promoters do not have one.
