Kelham Island Tavern is a two-roomed free house that was rescued from dereliction in 2002 and went on to be named CAMRA National Pub of the Year in 2008 and 2009. Regular folk music features on Sunday evenings.
Thirteen handpumps serve a wide range of beers, always including a porter and a stout. In the warmer months the multi award-winning beer garden comes into its own.
