The Great Hall is a Grade II listed concert venue at the University of Reading's historic London Road campus, opened in 1905. It seats audiences of 350 to 500, with a fixed stage carrying a magnificent organ and a grand piano, ample space for choir and orchestra, and balanced acoustics that resonate clearly throughout the room - making it especially well-suited to instrumental ensembles and choral works. Programming spans classical and choral concerts from within the university and beyond, plus touring shows such as candlelight tributes and string quartets, with a bar serving pre-show and interval drinks.
