The ‌​‌​‍Art of Tea is an independent café-bar at 47 Barlow Moor Road in Didsbury, Manchester, set in a former record shop and opened around October 2007. It blends a café, an adjoining bookshop, an exhibition space and a live-music room into a genuine community arts hub: alongside home-cooked food, loose-leaf teas and speciality beers, wines and spirits, it runs a regular events series of live music, comedy, poetry readings and art exhibitions, with a great soundtrack playing throughout the day. Open Monday to Saturday 9am-10pm and Sunday 10am-9pm, it is an intimate, welcoming stage for acoustic, jazz, folk and singer-songwriter performers in south Manchester.
