The Witchwood is a traditional pub on Old Street in Ashton-under-Lyne with an iconic 200-capacity live music venue to the rear, a hub of live indie and rock music since the 1960s. The programme leans on rock, indie, punk and metal, mixing touring acts with weekly club nights and regular tribute shows running through 2026. Both original music and covers are welcomed, and a PA system is provided for performers. The bar opens from 4pm daily, running until midnight.
