The Great Hall is Cardiff University Students' Union's flagship live-music room, on the first floor of the Union building in Cathays, Cardiff (entrance on Senghennydd Road). A flexible, warehouse-style space with around a 1,600 standing capacity for major concerts (roughly 800-1,000 seated depending on the production), it has hosted musical acts since the 1970s. The programme spans headline touring acts, rising indie and alternative bands, club and electronic nights, plus touring stand-up comedy, all run with full in-house PA and production. One of Cardiff's busiest mid-to-large concert venues, not a bring-your-own-PA grassroots space.
