The Greenbank is a proper neighbourhood pub on Belle Vue Road in Easton, with a garden, a kitchen and an upstairs function room - and a calendar that's packed with things to join in with rather than just watch.
Music runs through the week. Garden Folk Sessions happen on the first and third Tuesday of the month, sea shanty nights on the second and fourth Wednesday, both from 8pm. Upstairs, The Cocoon is a showcase night on the third Thursday from 7.30pm, and there's been a monthly soul night too. Comedy, a quiz, life drawing and a collage club fill the other gaps.
If you play folk or acoustic music, the sessions are the easiest way in - just turn up with an instrument. For showcases, events and room hire, email the events address on the pub's website.
