The Old Joint Stock is a grand Fuller's pub and fringe theatre on Temple Row West in Birmingham city centre, set inside a Grade II-listed former bank with a domed ceiling and a 90-capacity studio theatre upstairs. It is Birmingham's home of premier fringe theatre in the Midlands, programming bold new plays, stand-up comedy, burlesque, cabaret and live jazz across the year. Its standout recurring slot for performers is the Musical Theatre Open Mic Night, a niche, genuinely sing-from-the-soundtrack evening that draws music-theatre singers from across the West Midlands — confirmed running into 2026 with dated nights on Friday 5th June and Friday 7th August 2026, starting 7:30pm (around £5 entry).
