The Blue Piano is a live-music venue, South-East Asian restaurant and small hotel in Edgbaston, Birmingham, set in a beautiful Edwardian building at 24-26 Harborne Road (B15 3AA) with a large leafy courtyard. Open since the 1990s, it runs an eclectic year-round programme of live music — jazz, reggae, soul, funk and Motown — and is legendary for its New Year's Eve soul, Motown and blues parties. The kitchen draws on Vietnamese, Singaporean, Cambodian and Malaysian cooking with dedicated vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes. Open Tuesday–Thursday 12pm–11pm, Friday–Saturday 12pm–12am and Sunday 12pm–8pm.
