The St George is a traditional sports-themed pub at 30 Walter Road in Swansea, reopened in December 2023 after a major revamp and rebranding following several years closed. Inside the long single room there's a variety of seating including booths, a pool area at the rear and — crucially for performers — a separate music stage. It puts on live entertainment every Saturday with local live bands and solo artists, alongside DJ nights, karaoke, quiz nights and sports screenings. A welcoming, recently-refreshed grassroots room for both originals and covers on one of Swansea's main thoroughfares.
