Murphy's Main Stage is a dedicated live-music, sports and cocktails bar a few minutes' walk from Port Talbot's bus and railway stations. As the name suggests, the room is built around a proper stage, and there's something on most nights of the week: the legendary jam nights run every Wednesday and Sunday, live bands take the Main Stage every Saturday, and top DJs spin Friday and Saturday until 2am, with karaoke and live sport filling out the calendar. It's a 200-capacity grassroots room that welcomes both covers acts and original local bands, making it one of Port Talbot's busier spots for working musicians and jam-night regulars alike.
