The No Sign Bar at 56 Wind Street is one of Swansea's oldest pubs, trading since 1690 and once a haunt of Dylan Thomas. It runs live music right across the weekend, and its vaulted cellars now operate as a dedicated live music room called The Vault, open Friday and Saturday nights. The standout for performers is the Thursday open mic / jam night at 8pm — described as very friendly and welcoming, with no pressure to perform: watch and enjoy, or get up and join in. There is a house PA, and the room is happy to take both original material and covers across acoustic, folk and singer-songwriter styles.
