Baker Street is a city-centre bar at 30-34 Avenham Street, Preston (PR1 3BN), housed in an 1818 building that reopened in 2019 after a £1m refurbishment and now spreads over three floors. It's a genuine grassroots stage: the Tuesday open mic is open to everyone and supplies a full backline — drum kit, PA and amps — so bands and solo artists of any genre can just turn up and plug in. Sundays bring live bands all day from 3pm, and Friday nights run DJs through to 3:30am. Alongside the music there's a craft-beer and cocktail offering and a regular quiz, making it one of Preston's busier live-music pubs.
