Louth Jazz Club, formally the New Orleans (Louth) Club, is a long-standing members' music club on Queen Street in Louth, founded in 1963. It is a seated room with its own bar, built around New Orleans and Dixieland jazz but also used for mainstream jazz and blues. Louth Folk Club hires the room for its own fortnightly Thursday sessions. It is a short walk from Louth town centre and the Riverhead.

The Night
Louth Folk Club meets on the second and fourth Thursday of the month in the Louth Jazz Club room on Queen Street, doors 7.30pm for an 8pm start. It is an open-floor folk night, and the club's programme marks these dates with the line floor singers welcome. Entry is four pounds for non-members, more on booked-guest nights. The club takes a summer break and reopens in September.
