The Brewery Bar opened in February 2015 as the taproom for Blackedge Brewing Company and sits directly above the brewery at Moreton Mill on Hampson Street, Horwich. It is a modern, industrial-feel room with low background music, seven hand-pulled cask ales off the award-winning brewery downstairs, ten craft keg lines, seven real ciders and a decent wine and spirits list, plus the biggest beer garden in Horwich. Dog- and child-friendly. The open mic runs on the second Thursday of each month, hosted by local musician Anthony Rowlands: bring your instrument and a beer, all abilities always welcome. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 4pm midweek and 1pm at the weekend.
