Wigan Little Theatre is a charitable, volunteer-run theatre on Crompton Street in Wigan, founded in 1943 and housed since 1947 in the converted Alliance Picture House cinema. The auditorium seats around 250 and the company stages up to nine productions per season, spanning plays, pantomimes and contemporary works alongside folk, acoustic and comedy nights. It holds the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service, the highest award given to voluntary groups in the UK. A PA system is provided for performers.
