It runs an eclectic programme — everything from live bands and touring acts (The Nightingales, Katie Gregson-MacLeod, Jon Spencer have all played) through to comedy and techno DJ nights — alongside its day job as an easygoing craft-beer pub with a beer garden, pool tables and live sports screens. Capacity is around 100 and the venue trades from midday until 3am, making it a flexible city-centre spot for grassroots gigs and club nights alike.

USC Open Mic runs on the last Wednesday of each month at 8pm in the Lounge at Ulster Sports Club, an easy-going three-floor music bar on High Street in Belfast city centre.
