About The Grove Inn
The Grove is an independent free house in the heart of Huddersfield, a short stroll from the train station, best known among musicians for its long-running traditional Irish music session every Thursday evening. Players gather from around 8pm for jigs, reels and songs over a famously huge real-ale and craft-beer selection, with anywhere from a handful to a dozen musicians joining in. It's a warm, unpretentious spot where listeners and players are equally welcome, alongside occasional weekend bands and live entertainment.
