The West Riding (Licensed Refreshment Rooms) is a multi-award-winning real-ale pub set in the grade II-listed 1848 Italianate/Tudor former waiting rooms on platform 2 of Dewsbury railway station (Wellington Road, Dewsbury, WF13 1HF). Established in 1994, it is a CAMRA Good Beer Guide regular and runs live and disc-music sessions year-round, with a dedicated summer programme on the outdoor 'Platform 3' stage and frequent beer-and-music festivals — most notably Bluesbury, Dewsbury's original blues festival. Past bills have spanned blues, rock covers, soul and Motown (e.g. Chicago Joe & The Soul Divas, Storm, Holy Suns).
