About The Strathdearn

The Strathdearn is a purpose-built community hub in Tomatin, around 16 miles south of Inverness, opened in October 2019 by Strathdearn Community Developments. Its main hall hosts folk concerts, Burns Night and Hogmanay ceilidhs, cinema nights and touring acoustic acts, drawing on the rich traditional-music heritage of the River Spey and surrounding Highlands. It is the main dedicated performance space for a scattered rural community between Inverness and the Cairngorms.
