About Church Dundee

Church was a live-music venue in a former 19th-century Methodist church at 15 Ward Road in Dundee city centre, a roughly 400-capacity room booking indie, rock, electronic and DJ nights with an in-house PA and sound engineer, and a stage that carried local names like The View alongside Snow Patrol and Texas. It no longer trades under that name at this address: after eight years Church was evicted by the building's owner following a dispute, and the Ward Road site was taken over and rebranded as Music Hall Dundee in July 2026, whose owner says he wants it to stay a gig spot for smaller bands as well as touring acts. Church itself has been running events from the Beat Generator on North Lindsay Street while it looks for a permanent home, and its own website no longer resolves.
