MASH is Cambridge's only independent nightclub and live music venue, tucked away at 15 Market Passage in the city centre. With a 480 capacity and a sound and light system that rivals the best in the business, it has built a loyal following by rejecting the corporate, one-size-fits-all approach. The week revolves around two longstanding nights: Tuesdays bring R&B, Hip Hop, UK Rap, Bashment and Afrobeats, while Saturdays serve up the best in Funk, Soul, House and Disco. A recent refurbishment added a new sound rig, revamped air conditioning and an upgraded bar, keeping the room firmly at the centre of Cambridge's independent music scene.
