Birmingham Town Hall is a Grade I listed, neo-classical concert hall in Victoria Square at the heart of the city centre, run today by B:Music alongside Symphony Hall. Originally built from 1834 as a home for the Birmingham Triennial Music Festival, it was fully refurbished into a modern 1,086-seat concert hall between 2002 and 2008. It now stages a remarkably broad programme — rock, pop, jazz, folk, world and classical concerts, plus organ recitals, spoken word and community performances. This is a professionally run, fully equipped seated concert hall, not a bring-your-own-PA grassroots room.
