The Garage opened in 1994, runs seven days a week 365 days a year, and is one of the city's best-known stepping-stone gig venues for rising bands. While the 700-capacity Main Hall takes the bigger touring shows, G2 hosts intimate live gigs and club nights - rock, indie, pop, country and alternative bills - making it a key small-room stage on the Sauchiehall Street strip.
