The Nags Head is a historic Grade II-listed pub on the junction of Mount Street and Tuttle Street in Wrexham city centre (LL13 8DW), with the building dating back to 1661. It serves British pub food and runs live music and quiz nights. It is home to the Wrexham Folk & Acoustic Club, which meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month (October to June, with a break in early January), kicking off at 8pm — arrive early for a meal before the session. A characterful North Wales pub blending heritage with a regular folk/acoustic programme.

About Nags Head

About This Open Mic
The Night
The Nag's Head on Mount Street is the long-standing home of the Wrexham Folk & Acoustic Club, which has run there for over fifteen years. On 'Singers' Nights' it's effectively an open mic: anyone can come along and perform, whether singing, playing an instrument or reciting poetry or prose, with a resident band kicking things off. It meets the first and third Thursdays of each month from October through to June (no first Thursday in January), starting at 8pm. Admission is free, with a raffle and a 'pass the hat' to fund the guest nights.
