The Phipps (formerly the Sir Pickering Phipps) is a Wellingborough Road local in Northampton that reopened in December 2024 after a £350,000 refurbishment, returning with a sleek new bar and a programme built squarely around live entertainment. From 7pm every weekend the pub puts on local DJs, live bands and acoustic artists with crowd-singalong anthems, while midweek leans on open mic nights, quizzes and community events.
