The Three Tuns is the oldest pub in Sutton Coldfield, a Grade-listed former coaching inn dating to the early 16th century at 19 High Street (B72 1XS), reputedly haunted by a Civil War 'Royalist Drummer Boy'. It is a proper grassroots live-music local: live bands play every Saturday, and an open-mic night runs with a full PA welcoming both acoustic and electric performers, including a dedicated half-hour 'Band Feature' slot (booked via Paul on 0121 354 9217). With a full backline (drums, guitar and bass amps), great cask ales and a home-cooked menu, it takes both originals and covers.

It's a warm, friendly room with a full PA, welcoming all ages and abilities across acoustic and electric — the only rule is live performers, no backing tracks.
