Popular village pub on King Street in the centre of Whalley, close to the historic church and Whalley Abbey. Serves six rotating cask beers from microbreweries and local producers, and hosts a monthly open mic night on the first Thursday of each month, 8pm to 10.30pm. Reopened in July 2026 after a c. 250,000 pound refurbishment by Star Pubs and new publican Lee McLoughlin, with its well-supported open mic nights carried on.
