About This Open Mic
The Night
Red Pine Open Mic is the longest-running open mic in Scotland, never having missed a Wednesday since 2010. It runs weekly from 8:30pm at The Green Room on Canal Street, with free entry and walk-up sign-up. Backline is provided for anyone who can't bring their own — drums, bass, guitar amps and more — and all styles are welcome, alongside poets, comedians and other performers.
About The Green Room
The Green Room is one of Perth's busiest live-music pubs, a three-bar venue housed in a former brewery from the turn of the 18th/19th centuries, with rough-hewn stone walls, exposed beams and open fires. It puts on live music seven nights a week, and is home to the Red Pine open mic every Wednesday from 8pm - the longest-running open mic in Scotland, having not missed a week since 2010. Backline including drums, bass and guitar amps is provided, and all musical styles are welcome.
