A friendly, properly local open mic at the Somerville Arms, a much-loved real-ale pub just off the town centre. It runs on the first Tuesday of each month and is open to all — they make a point of welcoming everyone to come along and have a go, with around a 15-minute slot each. Free to perform and to watch. About Somerville Arms
The Somerville Arms is an unspoilt Victorian street-corner local from 1864 in north-east Leamington with a well-loved grassroots music programme. The monthly open mic on the first Tuesday is open to all — everyone gets around a 15-minute slot — and the calendar also takes in a monthly Flamenco night, regular booked acts like the celtic-and-Americana Quiet Men, and a Thursday bring-your-own-vinyl session. A proper community pub with real ales, a garden and a genuine welcome.
