About Colonel Porter's Emporium
Colonel Porter's Emporium is a characterful cocktail bar and tavern on the ground floor of Milburn House, Dean Street, in Newcastle's Quayside (NE1 1LF). Named after the brewer co-credited with creating Newcastle Brown Ale, its quirky interior features an indoor botanical garden, atmospheric lighting and table service. Live music and DJs run every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with regular open mic nights through the week. An in-house PA supports the line-up; it's a lively grassroots-friendly room for covers and party sets.
