About The Trent House
The Trent House is a much-loved neighbourhood bar at 1-2 Leazes Lane in Newcastle city centre, a stone's throw from St James' Park and the university. Trading since 1861, it is famous for its free world-famous jukebox spinning an eclectic mix of classic rock, jazz, electronica and old soul, with vinyl records lining the walls and a magnificent toastie at the bar. Live music comes via the monthly 'Bound for Glory' night on the last Saturday of every month. There is an upstairs room with a pool table and a nightly 8pm-9pm happy hour. The pub provides a PA, drums and backline for the monthly session.
