We have been going since 2016 and gig most weekends across Greater Manchester - The Bread Shed, Gullivers, Retro Bar, plus function and wedding work through the summer. Our drummer is relocating in October, so we are after someone to take the seat permanently. What the set looks like: 90 percent covers, two 45-minute sets, Kings of Leon through Arctic Monkeys and Stereophonics with a couple of older crowd-pleasers. Nothing technical, but it has to be tight and it has to groove - most of our rooms are 150-300 cap and the dancefloor decides whether we get rebooked. The practicals: fortnightly rehearsals Tuesday or Thursday evenings at a room in Ancoats, roughly 7-10pm. We own the PA and the lights and there is space in the van for a kit. Fees are 80-120 each a gig depending on the room, paid on the night, split evenly. What we are after: someone reliable who turns up knowing the material, and who is up for a laugh in a van at 1am. Age and background do not matter at all - the feel does.
