What does Reliability show on an artist's profile?
Reliability shows how an artist has kept their confirmed bookings on GigXchange over the last 12 months. It appears on artist profiles only.
To see it, open the artist's profile and find the Reviews section. Press Reliability at the top of that section; the reviews are replaced by the artist's track record. Press Back to reviews to return.
It shows one of four things:
- Completes a percentage of confirmed bookings, with how many confirmed bookings that covers.
- Building a track record — how many confirmed bookings so far, and how many at-fault cancellations, if any.
- Cancelled a number of their confirmed bookings, when the artist has called off several.
- New to GigXchange — no confirmed bookings yet. This is not a mark against anyone; every artist starts here.
Only bookings confirmed on GigXchange count, and cancellations recorded as not the artist's fault are not counted against them. Bookings arranged elsewhere do not appear.
If you are an artist, your own Reliability is built the same way: honour the bookings you confirm, and sort out a clash with the other side early rather than cancel late. See cancelling a booking.
Reviews and Reliability answer different questions: what people said about working with the artist, and their record of cancellations. See leaving a review.
