How do I apply for a Member Spotlight?

A Member Spotlight is a written feature about you, published on gigxchange.app. You answer questions about how you work; our editorial team writes the story from your answers. It is free for members.

Open Profile, choose Promo Kit, then press Open on Member Spotlight. The questions are tailored to your account type - an artist is asked about their sound, a venue about its room.

1. Answer the questions. There are five sections of two questions each. Every answer needs at least 40 characters - a counter under each box tells you how close you are - and Next stays greyed out until the section is done.
2. Quickfire. Six short, light-hearted questions; a line each is enough.
3. Press photos. Press Add photo or drag images onto the grid. You need at least four and can add up to six, each under 10 MB. Live shots work best.
4. Press Submit for Review.

You do not have to finish in one go: Save draft keeps your answers and photos, and the Promo Kit tile then says Continue.

After you submit, the Member Spotlight tile on your Promo Kit shows where it stands - submitted, under review, approved or live - and you get a notification when it goes live. Once it is published, View yours opens it. Not every submission is published: if yours is not selected, the tile says so and you can submit again.
