Getting Started

What free tools can I use without an account?

Four tools on the GigXchange website work with no account at all:

  • The Gig Rate Calculator at /gig-rate-calculator shows what UK acts charge, built from real reported fees. Press Try the calculator to start. You can also add your own fee with Submit your rate; submissions are anonymous.
  • The Open Mic Finder at /gigs/open-mic-finder lists open mic nights across UK cities.
  • The Licence Checker at /licensing-checker is for venues. Press Try it now — no account, answer the questions (they branch, so you only see the ones that apply), then press Next, enter your email and press Email me my verdict.
  • The venue outreach email templates at /venue-outreach-templates help artists pitch a venue. Press Start building — no signup, fill in your details, pick a template and a tone, then copy or download the email.

Everything else on the Free Tools page - setlists, stage plots, tour posters, flyers, invoices, the EPK builder, booking contracts, the availability widget, Post a Gig, Gig Rescue and the compliance checks - lives inside the app and needs a free account, because each one builds on your own profile, dates and bookings and saves your work.

Creating an account is free; see how do I create an account? and is GigXchange free to use?
