What are Creator Tools and the Promo Kit?
Creator Tools is the page that lists every tool your account can use, and the Promo Kit is a shorter page of the tools for promoting yourself. Both are free for members.
Creator Tools. Open Dashboard and choose Creator Tools - on a venue account the same page is called Venue Tools. The tools are grouped into chapters by the job they do: for artists, agents and promoters that is getting found, getting booked, show night and getting paid; for venues it is filling the stage, running the night, promoting and your venue. Each tool has an Open link, and many have See example, which shows a real finished one before you make your own. The Quick Access list down the side links to every tool on the page.
You only see tools your account can actually open - a stage plot or setlist is for artists, the licensing checks are for venues - and a tool whose page you have switched off is left out.
Promo Kit. Open Profile and choose Promo Kit. It holds four tools: Member Spotlight, Electronic Press Kit, Tour Poster and Flyer Builder. Each one builds from your profile, so keeping your profile complete makes all of them better.
Both pages also carry the user guides shelf - see where do I find step-by-step guides?.
On an organiser account there is no Creator Tools page and no Promo Kit. Either page can be switched off in Add-ons - see can I hide app pages I don't use?.
