Getting Started

What account types are available?

There are five account types, each with features built for its role.

  • Artist — solo performers, bands and DJs
  • Venue — pubs, clubs, arenas and festivals
  • Promoter — event organisers
  • Booking Agent — talent representatives
  • Organiser — anyone booking a performer for a one-off: a wedding, a birthday, an office party. A stripped-back account with bookings, messages and payments, and nothing else to wade through.

The first four are for people working in the live music industry. Organiser is for everyone else — you do not need an industry account just to hire a band.

Pick the one that matches how you actually work. Your account type shapes what you see: artists look for gigs, venues and promoters look for performers, and agents manage a roster on behalf of the artists they represent.

If you work in more than one capacity, see can I have more than one role?
