Micklegate ‌‌‍Social is a corner bar overlooking York's city walls, blending speciality coffee, brunch, ten craft-beer lines and fresh food with a genuine live-music programme. Its basement room — The Den — is a dedicated stage space with brick walls and red neon, hosting frequent gigs (acts such as Vinny Peculiar, Lost Hours and Josh of All Trades) plus a regular jazz session and ticketed events listed on Skiddle, Songkick and See Tickets. Rustic-industrial upstairs, dog-friendly by day and backed by a house PA with two mics, it's one of York's better grassroots rooms for originals and covers.
