The Exchange is a community arts centre and registered charity at 1 Old Market Hill in Sturminster Newton, North Dorset (DT10 1FH) — the focal point of a community-led regeneration of the historic market town. Its main space, the Stour Hall, seats up to 300 (half on tiered seating) and has one of the widest stages in the county, making it equally at home for live music, theatre, comedy, dance and cinema on a 16ft screen. Alongside the auditorium it runs a café, markets, a learning centre and a year-round programme for local, national and international performers. Contact 01258 475137.
