The Song Loft is a folk, roots and acoustic music club in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, meeting in the Beechey Room at the York House Centre on London Road. It was founded in 1976 by Matt Armour as Folk at the Crown and took its present name in October 1980. The club runs a season from September to June, pairing a monthly Performers' Night with a monthly concert by booked professional artists. Performers' Nights are an unplugged open floor: anyone can bring a song, tune or piece, and the club asks for a good standard of unplugged music and song. Entry is 5 pounds on the door and tickets are not sold in advance for Performers' Nights.
