It combines a classic pub with a dedicated 275-capacity live room, earning a national reputation for intimate gigs and a strong commitment to up-and-coming artists alongside established touring acts — a go-to for rock, metal, punk, indie and alternative. Open-mic nights are mainly acoustic but open to anyone from poetry to comedy, and the venue also runs DJ nights, silent discos and themed events. It was among the venues backed by Milton Keynes City Council's 2026 grassroots-music investment, running live showcases for local bands with professional recordings. PA, stage lighting and a friendly team complete the setup.
