No.28 ‌‌‍is Belper's award-winning arts and community venue at 28 Market Place, Derbyshire — a not-for-profit Community Interest Company in a former 1930s Salvation Army hall. Its single flexible hall seats up to around 60 and is renowned for warm acoustics and an intimate club atmosphere. Since November 2023 it has hosted the Belper Jazz Company, which grew from sell-out gigs in 2024 to a full twelve-event programme through 2025, bringing names like Greg Abate, Simon Spillett and Jeanie Barton to town, alongside theatre, comedy, workshops and exhibitions.
