Hackney Church (the Church of St John-at-Hackney) is a Grade II* listed Anglican church on Lower Clapton Road in the London Borough of Hackney, built in 1792. As well as a thriving parish church, since reopening in September 2020 it has become a notable London live-music venue: the main Nave seats 550 or holds up to 1,750-1,800 standing, and it has hosted artists including Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Robbie Williams, Griff and Interpol. Full hire combines the Nave with all back-of-house facilities. A large, professionally run church venue spanning indie, rock, pop, soul and electronic programming.
