Sefton ‌‌‍Park is a 235-acre Grade I-listed Victorian park about 4km south-east of Liverpool city centre (the L17 district), with French-inspired landscaping, a boating lake, the Palm House and Peter Pan statue. Since 2019 it has doubled as one of the city's flagship outdoor concert sites: the 'In The Park' series began as a single day and has grown into a major multi-day run of large open-air shows, headlined over the years by Mumford & Sons, Loyle Carner, Inhaler and Tate McRae, with Lewis Capaldi billed for 15 August 2026. Shows are big-capacity outdoor events (typically 14+, photo ID required) rather than grassroots gigs.
