The Bombed Out Church (St Luke's) is one of Liverpool's most atmospheric live spaces — a Grade II listed church left as a roofless shell after WWII bombing, now run as an open-air arts venue in the city centre. It hosts outdoor concerts, gigs, theatre, film screenings and a Garden Bar across spring and summer, ranging from indie and rock to electronic and festival-style line-ups, with a PA brought in for shows. Many community events are free with a suggested donation towards upkeep; the open-air ruin gives every performance a striking, one-of-a-kind backdrop.
